One-off case review: includes a 30 minute meeting, for any immigration query, followed up with detailed written advice - £150.
Please ensure that you bring all papers relevant to your immigration query to your initial appointment. The figures below are guideline fees only. The fees you pay will vary depending on the complexity of your case.
Out of Country applications to British Embassies and High Commissions abroad:
Visa applications are often refused for simple lack of documentation so taking legal advice in this area can reduce the chances of the application being refused.
Visit visa, family reunion and student applications from £500 - £750
Family settlement, Points Based System and employment applications from £750 - £1500
In Country applications to the Home Office, Border and Immigration Agency:
We are able to assist and advise in the preparation of the various applications that can be made to the Home Office for people who are in the UK and need to extend their leave to remain, or claim international protection. We can also advise on the merits of pursuing applications outside of the immigration rules where people do not currently have any permission to live in the UK.
- Spouse / family members applications from £800 - £1400

- Tier 4 student applications from £600 - £1000
- Sponsor licence applications for businesses and colleges from £400 - £600

- Refugee and humanitarian protection applications, including fresh claims from £1250 - £2500
- Applications outside of the Immigration Rules from £950 - £1500

Applications to naturalise or register as a British Citizen:
- Adult applications from £500 - £800
- Children applications from £400 - £600
Detention and bail cases: preparing and presenting bail hearings from £500 - £850
Appeals to the AIT: fees include taking your instructions, advising on and gathering evidence, liaising with the Home Office, Embassy or High Commission and the Tribunal, preparation of appeal bundles, and advocacy. While we cannot guarantee the success of your appeal, we understand the law and practice relevant to each case, and will give your case the best chance before the Tribunal. Our solicitors have wide experience of appearing before the Tribunal at all levels, including at reconsideration hearings.

- Visit visa and student appeals from £500 - £1000
- Settlement and visa appeals from £1200 - £1800
- Refugee and deportation appeals from £1500 - £2500
- Reconsideration appeals (normally two hearings) from £1800 - £2500
Proof of Identity - We normally need to see proof of your identity (your passport, travel document, drivers licence or other photo ID) together with proof of your address (a utility bill or other official correspondence addressed to you in the last month).
VAT -all prices quoted exclude the UK's Value Added Tax ('VAT') of 15 %. Our VAT registration number is 921 6697 07. If you are resident abroad, or do not have any immigration status in the UK, you may not be liable to pay VAT on the charges set out above. If you are unsure, please ask for further details and we will be happy to discuss this.
Disbursements – these are additional costs which may be incurred on your case, for example:
- Home Office and British Embassy and Court fees,
- translation and interpretation fees,
- Life in the UK test fees,
- medical reports and DNA testing.
Such costs are not included in the fees quoted above and are not necessary in every case. You will be notified in advance if you have to pay any disbursements in addition to Latitude Law’s fees.
You will receive regular bills and statements of account. You may pay by standing order if you prefer. We can accept payment by card, cheque and up to £500 in cash.
